Project Management Specialist

About the role

The Project Management Specialist will lead a portfolio of technically complex projects, ensuring on‑time delivery, profitability and high customer satisfaction. You will act as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, applying formal project‑management methodology and coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, analyse and accept orders from commercial and operational teams.
• Conduct internal kickoff meetings and launch order execution.
• Schedule and lead external kick‑off meetings with customers.
• Manage scope, resolve technical and commercial issues, and maintain regular communication with customers.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with engineering, procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, finance and services.
• Create baseline schedules, monitor variance, and provide progress updates.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate project risks across functions.
• Negotiate and manage change orders to add customer value and protect contribution margin.
• Track financial performance, ensure order reconciliation, invoicing and delivery of contract documentation.
• Escalate critical situations to meet contractual deadlines.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for sales and proposals.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and ability to own the relationship throughout the project.
• Experience managing projects with significant technical complexity and commercial risk.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and drive resolution of issues.
