Project Head

About the role

Fives India Engineering & Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a senior leader to head its project management function. The Project Head will be responsible for delivering complex engineering projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving financial and schedule performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project execution, from planning through to closure.
• Develop and control project schedules, cash‑flow forecasts and budgets.
• Manage contractual, commercial and statutory requirements, including risk, claim and contract administration.
• Coordinate with internal functional teams and external contractors to ensure smooth site execution.
• Monitor project progress (L2/L3 levels), identify variances and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee stakeholder communication and maintain data confidentiality.
• Ensure delivery of internationally‑qualified products and drive cost‑optimization strategies.

Required profile

• BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15–25 years of experience in technical and commercial project execution.
• Proven ability to forecast resources, manage budgets and control schedules.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in site and contractor management, risk & claim handling.
