Project Finance Controller

About the role

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Finance Controller to lead detailed monthly project reviews and enforce project management best practices across its portfolio. Based in Gurugram, you will work closely with business units, divisions, and operating companies to ensure financial transparency and control.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive monthly project reviews covering status, engineering, procurement, risk, schedule, claims, and turnover.
• Enforce project management processes, methodologies, and best practices throughout the organization.
• Track project progress, performance metrics, and risk indicators to support informed decision‑making.
• Develop and implement cost‑control strategies and procedures.
• Identify critical project topics that require senior management attention.
• Maintain internal control compliance and keep project controls “green.”
• Lead project review meetings with BU, Division, and OpCo leadership.
• Ensure timely completion of quarterly and year‑end audit activities related to projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project finance controlling or similar financial oversight roles.
• Strong understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
• Ability to analyse project data, identify risks, and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with audit preparation and coordination.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management and audit teams.
