Project Engineering Manager – Civil & Structural

About the role

The Project Engineering Manager will lead the design and detailing of civil and structural works for high‑voltage substation and power distribution projects, ensuring engineering excellence from pre‑bid studies to as‑built documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor engineering plans aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of lead engineers, design engineers and draughtspeople to deliver civil and structural designs for substation and power transmission projects.
• Coordinate with electrical, MEP and other disciplines, ensuring design compliance with client standards and external consultant reviews.
• Control quantities, costs and optimisation of civil & structural works, manage design approvals, and produce as‑built drawings.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Tech in Structural/Geotech/Environmental Engineering.
• 12–18 years of experience in civil and structural design for substation, power transmission or related industries, with proven leadership of project teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD and ETABS.
• Advanced drafting and modelling using AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla (learning phase).
• Strong command of MS Office for documentation and reporting.
