Project Engineer – Aviation (Civil/Structural/Electrical/MEP)

About the role

The Project Engineer will support the delivery of airport infrastructure projects across civil, structural, electrical, MEP and airport systems disciplines. Reporting to the Package Manager, you will ensure work‑front availability, monitor progress, and help resolve any construction or interface issues to keep the project on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review GFC drawings, specifications, method statements and shop drawings to identify site discrepancies and constructability issues.
• Supervise on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, proactively escalating delays, resource shortages or interface bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams to facilitate seamless execution and integration of airport systems.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and compliance reviews, and prepare progress reports, punch lists and technical documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, defect rectification and handover activities, verifying as‑built records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5‑10 years of experience in construction supervision, project engineering or infrastructure development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on airport or aviation infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with PMC consultants, EPC contractors, airport operators or client‑side project teams.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO, DGCA and applicable airport engineering standards.
