Project Engineer – Airside Civil

About the role

The Project Engineer (Civil) – Airside will support the Package Manager‑Airside in delivering airport airside infrastructure across runways, taxiways, aprons and related facilities. The role focuses on progress monitoring, construction supervision, quality assurance and ensuring timely handover of civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Review GFC drawings, specifications, method statements and shop drawings to identify constructability issues and site discrepancies.
• Supervise on‑site construction activities for runways, taxiways, aprons, shoulders, airside roads, drainage and pavement markings.
• Monitor construction progress, flag delays, resource shortages and interface bottlenecks, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure all works comply with approved designs, ICAO/DGCA standards, safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage interfaces between civil works, airfield ground lighting, utilities and operational airside areas.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records and technical documentation for project tracking and handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• 5‑10 years of experience in construction supervision, infrastructure development or project engineering, with at least 5 years on airport airside projects.
• Proven experience with PMC, EPC contractors, consultants, vendors or client‑side project teams.
• Familiarity with ICAO, DGCA, FAA, MoRTH, IRC and relevant airport engineering standards.
