Project Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Project Controller to join the Project Services Department at our Bangalore office. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will be responsible for commercial and financial management of services, data analytics, and supporting project delivery across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project controls strategies, including capital expenditure management and cost reporting.
• Track project service hours, schedule progress, earned value, and change control.
• Prepare project progress reports, assess commercial performance, and manage purchase orders, supplier payments and accruals.
• Support risk management, cash‑flow preparation, and budgeting/forecasting processes.
• Provide data‑analytics support for project delivery, resource utilisation and business operations.

Required profile

• Proven track record in project commercial and financial oversight.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills at all organisational levels.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Experience in building internal business relationships for sound financial appraisal.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with project controlling applications (e.g., earned value, cost control tools).
