Project Controller

About the role

The Project Controller will oversee financial planning, monitoring and reporting for our automotive projects in Silao. You will ensure budgets are accurate, expenditures are controlled, and financial documentation complies with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support project budgeting, cost estimation, revenue forecasting and budget maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and approve purchase requests (BANFs).
• Analyze financial performance, report budget‑to‑actual variances and provide insights for cost control.
• Prepare profit and loss statements, balance‑sheet reconciliations and project performance analyses.
• Maintain project master data in SAP, ensuring correct setup and administration of new projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and manage vendor invoicing and payments.
• Maintain audit‑ready financial documentation and uphold internal controls and governance.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders on ad‑hoc analyses and process improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, project financial management and SAP FI processes.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience handling large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Results‑oriented, organized, capable of independent work and effective teamwork.

Required skills

• SAP FI (Financial Accounting) proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, complex formulas).
