Project Controller

About the role

The Project Controller will support the full financial lifecycle of automotive projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis. You will work closely with finance, project teams, and external partners to deliver reliable financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support project budgeting, cost estimation, revenue forecasting and maintain budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor expenditures against approved budgets, approve purchase requests (BANFs) and analyze budget‑to‑actual variances.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance‑sheet reconciliations and project performance analyses.
• Maintain project master data in SAP, ensuring correct setup and administration of new projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and manage vendor invoicing and payment processes.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and collaborate on ad‑hoc analyses and process improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, project financial management and SAP FI processes.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience handling large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Results‑oriented, organized, capable of independent work and effective teamwork.
