Program Planning & Controls Lead

About the role

The Program Planning & Controls Lead will own the development, maintenance and control of integrated programme baselines for Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) workstreams, ensuring accurate schedules and performance metrics to support governance and client decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated Level 1‑4 programme schedules across Solar, Wind and BESS workstreams.
• Establish schedule baselines, control processes and governance frameworks, and monitor critical‑path performance.
• Define progress measurement methodologies, validate updates and reconcile planning data with procurement, engineering, construction and commissioning activities.
• Lead risk assessments, critical‑path analysis and develop recovery plans for schedule deviations.
• Support the Program Director with governance reporting and present forecasts to senior client teams.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in project controls, programme planning or schedule management on large‑scale infrastructure or renewable energy programmes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; PMP, PSP or AACE certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage integrated schedules across multiple work packages and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and enterprise scheduling systems.
• Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of earned‑value principles, schedule risk analysis and forecasting.
