About the role

We are seeking a Professor of Economics to provide leadership in teaching, research, and academic service, enhancing the university’s reputation and interdisciplinary education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced undergraduate and postgraduate courses, integrating liberal arts and interdisciplinary perspectives.
• Design and develop innovative curricula aligned with university vision and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead and collaborate on research projects, publish high‑impact papers, and secure research grants.
• Supervise doctoral and postgraduate scholars, offering mentorship and academic guidance.
• Mentor junior faculty, contribute to departmental planning, and serve on university committees.
• Engage with the community through outreach, public lectures, and partnerships with industry and government.
• Maintain professional development by participating in conferences and staying current in the field.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (PhD) in Economics or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality research publications in reputable journals.
• Experience teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Proven ability to supervise doctoral and master’s students.
• Leadership qualities and willingness to contribute to academic governance.
