About the role

The Central University of South Bihar is inviting applications for multiple faculty positions across its schools. Openings are available for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor ranks on a regular, contract or re‑employment after superannuation basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the assigned discipline.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Supervise graduate students and guide their thesis work.
• Participate in curriculum design, program development and academic committees.
• Engage in community outreach and professional activities as required.

Required profile

• Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D.) for Professor and Associate Professor positions; Master's degree with strong research record for Assistant Professor.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at university level.
• Evidence of scholarly publications and research contributions.
• Eligibility for recruitment as per University Grants Commission (UGC) norms.
