Professional Nurse – Full‑time Clinical Role

About the role

KLC Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Professional Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team in Basantpur. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering direct patient care across a range of specialties, including neurology, orthopedics, surgery, and intensive care.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and perform wound care according to protocols.
• Assist physicians and senior clinicians during procedures and interventions.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and ensure infection‑control standards are upheld.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and preventive health measures.
• Participate in quality‑improvement activities and adhere to hospital policies.

Required profile

• Recognized nursing qualification (Diploma or Bachelor’s) with valid registration/licensure.
• Clinical experience or strong interest in multispecialty settings such as neurology, orthopedics, surgery, or ICU.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with doctors, allied health professionals, patients, and families.
