Production Trainer – Operator Skill Development

About the role

CommScope is seeking a Trainer II to join its Goa site, where you will design and deliver training programs that enhance operator skills and product quality. You will work closely with production teams and internal customers to ensure a skilled workforce that meets performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and conduct new‑employee orientation and on‑line skill training for operators.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and skill‑matrix compliance.
• Create cross‑training plans for different product families and adapt them to product conversions.
• Coordinate internal training sessions, collect feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with HR training specialists to arrange external courses and team‑building activities.
• Monitor training expenses against budget and ensure internal customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing or production training.
• Proven ability to lead training initiatives and work in shift environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production line equipment.
• Experience creating and managing training documentation (work instructions, SOPs).
