Production Supervisor

About the role

Amitoje India, a leading manufacturer of display stands and fixtures, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead its manufacturing operations in Okhla Phase 2, New Delhi. The role focuses on driving productivity, maintaining equipment uptime, and ensuring a safe work environment for a large production workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate machine resources to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
• Supervise a workforce of over 1,000 employees within the manufacturing department.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and boost productivity across all product lines.
• Enforce industry‑standard health and safety guidelines for all staff.
• Set ambitious production targets and communicate them to relevant teams.
• Motivate, support and guide employees, addressing any obstacles with senior management.
• Develop workflow policies that improve speed and efficiency without compromising product safety.
• Create employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) is mandatory.
• Strong project‑management capabilities.
• Proven record of training staff in productivity and safety practices.
• Ability to coach and mentor individuals and groups.
