Production & Sampling Head

About the role

The Production & Sampling Head will lead all production and sampling activities for Ode To Odd, a mindful fashion brand based in India. Working on‑site in Siliguri, you will ensure that every sample and bulk order meets design intent, quality standards, and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute the production schedule for each collection, coordinating timelines with design, merchandising, artisans and suppliers.
• Develop initial prototypes, especially embroidery and surface treatments, and oversee their refinement.
• Manage costing, material sourcing, vendor relationships and inventory control to stay within budget.
• Conduct quality control checks on textiles, handwork, construction and finishing.
• Train, mentor and improve the skills of production staff and artisans.
• Collaborate closely with design and merchandising teams to align production output with creative vision.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fashion production, preferably with luxury or artisan‑focused brands.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating across design, artisans and suppliers.
• Degree or diploma in Fashion Production, Textile Technology, Fashion Design or a related field (preferred).
