Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner will drive on‑time delivery of customer orders by managing master data, creating production schedules and coordinating closely with Operations and Enterprise Information Management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures on‑time delivery of customer orders by maintaining planning‑related master data in collaboration with Enterprise Information Management (EIM).
• Generates the final Master Production Schedule (MPS) from the semi‑final MPS supplied by Supply Planning.
• Develops a detailed production schedule (DPS) and material requirements plan (MRP) while minimising change‑over times.
• Optimises workforce and equipment utilisation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Releases production schedules to the shop floor and coordinates regular planning handshake meetings with Operations Management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in a production plant or manufacturing site, with strong SAP PP knowledge and stakeholder management skills.
