Production Operator – Team Member

About the role

Continental Surface Solutions India is looking for a Team Member (Production Operator) to operate and supervise machines, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time order completion in an automotive or chemical production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, operate and supervise machines according to factory data collection (FDC/TSOP) and work instructions.
• Set up machines following the set‑up plan and verify safety installations.
• Perform quality controls per TSOP, report deviations, and document manufacturing and testing results.
• Monitor technical state of equipment, initiate corrective actions for technical errors, and report to superiors.
• Separate defective material, conduct optical inspections, and mark defect locations.
• Manage resources, auxiliary and residual materials, and ensure timely supply of tools.
• Follow procedures defined in the function manual and IMS.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the automotive or chemical industry.
• Familiarity with Lean Production, 5S and PDCA methodologies.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Plastic engineering (preferred).
