Production Operator – Chemical Manufacturing

About the role

Join a leading chemical company as a Production Operator in Dahej, India. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of batch and continuous processes in a high‑performance manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Charge raw materials accurately according to SOPs and batch sheets.
• Maintain and control process operating parameters as defined in SOPs.
• Load and unload reactors, tanks, and other equipment, and perform blending operations.
• Enter, retrieve, and calculate data using computer systems; generate operational reports.
• Prepare containers (TOTE, IBC, drums) ensuring they are clean and dry, and label them correctly.
• Conduct sampling, material shifting, and lifting as required by SOPs.
• Record equipment downtime and prepare equipment for maintenance (de‑pressurize, isolate, tag).
• Perform post‑maintenance safety checks and fire watch for Class I permits.
• Follow HS&E guidelines, report unsafe conditions, and participate in safety initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams and contribute to idea‑generation sessions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. in Organic Chemistry (preferred).
• 6–10 years of production experience in a chemical plant.
• Strong team player with excellent shop‑floor execution skills.
• Commitment to safe and quality work practices during shift operations.
