Production Manager – Seafood Processing

About the role

Abad Fisheries is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations at its modern seafood processing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The role involves overseeing daily factory activities, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities.
• Lead, motivate, and develop factory‑floor teams.
• Monitor production output, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Handle team‑related issues and support effective conflict resolution.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, HR, and other departments.
• Prepare and analyze production reports and operational data.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records through relevant systems.
• Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on factory floor or production management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution capabilities.
• Experience in food processing, seafood processing, or manufacturing is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and operational documentation.
