Production & Maintenance Electrical Engineer

About the role

Production & Maintenance Electrical Engineer role supporting electrical production activities, panel testing, pump test‑bed readiness and maintenance of manufacturing equipment at Armstrong Fluid Technology in Bengaluru.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily production activities for electrical panels, pump control systems, VFD assemblies and associated wiring, performing inspections, continuity and insulation resistance tests, and safety checks before panel release.
• Coordinate with production, quality, engineering and testing teams to resolve issues, prioritize production, and ensure electrical systems are ready for pump performance testing, monitoring parameters such as voltage, current and motor speed.
• Maintain test records, maintenance logs, inspection checklists and follow LOTO, permit‑to‑work and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2‑5 years of experience in production electrical support, panel testing, pump testing or related manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical panels, motors, VFDs, control circuits and ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and BOMs.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of electrical systems, motors, VFDs, protection devices and shop‑floor safety.
• Proficiency with multimeters, megger, clamp meters, power analysers and related electrical test equipment.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and support corrective actions.
