About the role

Jobs for Humanity is seeking a detail‑oriented Production Assistant to support its manufacturing operations in Mumbai. You will coordinate worker assignments, handle rejections, monitor production flow, and ensure products meet dimensional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers based on production needs and team capabilities, coordinating with the Production In‑Charge.
• Investigate online rejections, document reasons, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee ongoing production activities, reporting deviations to the Production In‑Charge.
• Conduct online dimensional inspections to verify products meet tolerance specifications.
• Prioritize and assign specific jobs to workers, ensuring clear communication of responsibilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional manufacturing qualifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented setting.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality control and problem‑solving.
