Product Development Engineer – Vending Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Design/R&D/NPD professional to lead new product development for Godrej Vending's range of tea, coffee and soup vending machines. The role focuses on delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that meet market needs and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute new product development projects based on stakeholder inputs and achieve launch targets.
• Deliver business outcomes such as topline growth, profitability, and defined revenue contributions from recent NPI.
• Develop innovative features including IoT connectivity, energy‑efficient designs and aesthetic enhancements.
• Ensure product quality, reliability and cost‑effectiveness through alternative materials and design principles.
• Secure compliance with corporate processes (Finance, Procurement, Legal, Code of Conduct) and sustainability standards.
• Lead certification and evaluation for “Good and Green” products.

Required profile

• Strong background in product design, engineering or R&D, preferably in consumer appliances or vending solutions.
• Ability to translate customer needs—both expressed and latent—into differentiated product offerings.
• Experience driving cross‑functional projects and meeting financial targets.
• Commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
