Product Compliance Manager

About the role

We are building Nium's Product Compliance function as a strategic capability that enables safe, scalable global growth. As a Product Compliance Manager you will sit at the intersection of Product, Payments, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Engineering and AI to ensure products meet regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Business and Engineering teams from ideation through launch and ongoing product evolution, assessing new products, features and payment methods.
• Lead New Product Risk Assessments, translate regulatory obligations into clear product requirements and proportionate controls.
• Review existing products for compliance gaps, drive remediation and contribute to periodic health reviews.
• Monitor regulatory developments, develop jurisdictional guidance and partner with regional compliance teams.
• Identify opportunities to use technology and AI to make Product Compliance more scalable, including AI‑assisted workflows.

Required profile

• 5–7 years experience in product compliance, payments risk, financial crime or related roles within fintech or financial services.
• Strong understanding of digital products, payment flows and customer journeys.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory or risk requirements into practical product or control solutions.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence without formal authority.
