Procurement Team Member

About the role

The Procurement Team Member will manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for projects and operational sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and project timelines. This role acts as the bridge between internal departments and suppliers, supporting tendering, contract negotiation and supplier performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full procurement cycle for CAPEX and OPEX items, from requisition to purchase order closing.
• Initiate and support local tender processes as directed by project teams.
• Review technical specifications, assess commercial proposals and prepare comparative statements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost targets.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, expedite where necessary and resolve disputes or claims.
• Maintain vendor records, conduct supplier assessments and drive vendor development.
• Perform spend analysis and recommend cost‑optimization strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Delegation of Authority and internal procurement policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement for greenfield/brownfield projects and regular plant operations.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes for both CAPEX and OPEX purchases.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and collaborate with project and user departments.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
