Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will act as the primary liaison between Sales Operations, vendors and multiple internal departments such as Finance, Trade Compliance and Enterprise Data Management. This individual contributor role ensures timely procurement and fulfillment of products and services for customers while maintaining high compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of TD SYNNEX’s business model, IT product attributes and vendor requirements to place accurate sales orders.
• Review and validate purchase requisitions in SAP, convert them to purchase orders and submit to vendors.
• Own the order lifecycle, providing status updates to sales and product managers.
• Place stocking purchase orders, manage backlogs, update delivery dates and follow up on past‑due items.
• Process drop‑ship orders, inbound software licenses and other non‑tangible items.
• Resolve rejected orders, coordinate corrections and resubmissions.
• Support finance with vendor invoice and credit‑note queries.
• Handle stock returns, rotations and transfers while ensuring compliance with Purchasing and Global Trade guidelines.
