Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will act as the primary point‑of‑contact between TD SYNNEX’s Sales Operations and its vendors. Working closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Trade Compliance and other cross‑functional teams, the role ensures timely procurement and fulfillment of products and services for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of TD SYNNEX’s business model, IT product attributes and vendor requirements to place accurate sales orders.
• Review purchase requisitions in SAP, validate details, convert PRs to purchase orders and submit them to vendors.
• Own the order lifecycle, providing status updates to sales and product managers and managing backlogs, delivery dates and past‑due items.
• Process drop‑ship orders, inbound software licenses and other non‑tangible items, and handle administrative confirmations for invoicing.
• Resolve rejected orders, support finance with vendor invoice queries, and manage stock returns, rotations and transfers.
• Maintain compliance with Purchasing and Global Trade Compliance guidelines and liaise with sales and product managers to meet customer expectations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of procurement processes and ability to work with high‑volume, accuracy‑driven orders.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple internal departments.
• Flexibility to support business needs and commitment to compliance and integrity.
