Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will serve as the primary liaison between Sales Operations and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of products and services for TD SYNNEX customers. This individual contributor role works closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Trade Compliance, Enterprise Data Management, and other cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of TD SYNNEX’s business model, IT product attributes, and vendor requirements to place accurate sales orders.
• Review and validate purchase requisitions in SAP, convert them to purchase orders (PO), and submit POs to vendors.
• Own the order lifecycle, providing status updates to sales and product managers and managing high‑volume orders with precision.
• Coordinate new stocking orders, drop‑ship orders, and inbound processing of software licenses and services.
• Resolve rejected orders, support finance with vendor invoice queries, and manage stock returns, rotations, and transfers.
• Maintain compliance with Purchasing and Global Trade Compliance guidelines and keep vendors informed of delivery timelines.
