Procurement Specialist – Indirect Materials

About the role

Flowserve is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the purchase of indirect materials and services. You will ensure optimal price, quality, and delivery performance while aligning purchasing activities with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Release purchase orders (POs) against purchase requisitions (PRs) following lead‑time guidelines.
• Negotiate with suppliers to improve profitability and on‑time delivery.
• Synchronise supplier promise dates with planning and update Oracle with accurate delivery information.
• Monitor order status, coordinate logistics for part pick‑up, and ensure smooth inbound processing.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and address any delivery issues until parts are stocked.
• Track and improve supplier performance against KPI targets.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities in indirect procurement.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in indirect procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier evaluation, and logistics.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP system proficiency.
• Supply chain management expertise.
