Procurement & Sourcing Manager – Gwalior West

About the role

Amrutam, a leading Ayurveda and wellness brand, is seeking a Procurement & Sourcing Manager to lead vendor identification, onboarding and relationship management for its raw material and packaging supply chain in Gwalior West. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality, ethically sourced inputs while optimizing cost and mitigating supply risks.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential new vendors for raw materials, packaging and other supply needs, ensuring alignment with quality standards and ethical sourcing.
• Manage the vendor onboarding process, including qualification, negotiation of terms and contract establishment.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned vendors, fostering open communication and long‑term partnerships.
• Address vendor inquiries, resolve issues and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Conduct regular performance reviews to monitor quality, delivery timelines and contract compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and service level agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for Amrutam.
• Track and analyze vendor performance metrics, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Production, Quality Control and Procurement to resolve vendor‑related issues.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks, ensuring vendor compliance with quality, ethical and regulatory standards.
• Explore cost‑optimization opportunities within the vendor network without compromising quality or reliability.
