Procurement Planner – Mechanical (Engineer/Executive)

About the role

As a Procurement Planner (Mechanical) you will lead global sourcing initiatives for key raw materials, ensuring cost‑effective procurement while maintaining high quality standards to support production at Bosch Rexroth India.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global sourcing projects for mechanical raw materials and components.
• Coordinate supplier creation, maintain info records, and set up EDI/ASN communication.
• Manage import‑export approval processes (CTG, CTX) and customs clearance.
• Set up transport and forwarder arrangements, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
• Monitor quality control to guarantee purchased parts meet specifications.
• Resolve logistic issues using problem‑solving tools and methods.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of material planning and procurement functions.
• Experience with global supplier management and cross‑functional coordination.
• Familiarity with customs clearance, import‑export documentation, and compliance.
• Basic understanding of quality control processes.
