Procurement Engineer – Planning & Procurement (SAP)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Engineer / Executive to manage planning and procurement activities for Bosch Rexroth India. The role will coordinate with sales, global lead plants, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure smooth material flow and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement processes, collaborating with sales, global plants and logistics partners.
• Handle SAP MM/PP transactions, including EDI purchase orders, scheduling agreements and MRP parameters.
• Generate purchase requisitions, raise purchase orders and maintain scheduling agreements.
• Monitor goods receipt, manage damages, and follow up on backlog orders and stock.
• Produce reports on open orders, inventory forecasting and compliance with standard processes.
• Participate in audits, maintain data integrity and ensure smooth information flow with external warehouses and logistics service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6‑8 years of experience in planning and procurement.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP MM, QM and SD modules.
• Proactive attitude with strong cross‑functional communication skills.
