Procurement Analyst

About the role

Flex is looking for a Procurement Analyst to support its manufacturing operations in Coimbatore. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure raw materials and purchased parts are available on time and at the right price.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain supplier relationships, place orders for raw materials and purchased parts according to production requirements.
• Track shipments, receive confirmations, and adjust purchase orders based on production plan changes.
• Conduct regular stock checks, manage obsolete inventory, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouses, and organize transportation as needed.
• Review requisitions and MRP output, manage supplier performance, and conduct quarterly supplier reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0‑2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence in English.
• Basic math skills for calculations such as discounts, percentages, and geometry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using ERP software and performing data entry.
• Ten‑key and spreadsheet handling skills.
