Procurement Analyst – GBS (Chennai)

About the role

Flex is seeking a motivated Analyst to support GBS Procurement activities in Chennai. You will manage end‑to‑end purchasing processes for C‑class items, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage C‑class items procurement activities from purchase request to supplier payment.
• Execute the full purchasing cycle: PR creation, PO issuance, PO confirmation, delivery follow‑up, and payment coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors to track material delivery status.
• Prepare and submit Open Purchase Order and Shortage reports on schedule.
• Handle pull‑in, push‑out, and cancellation actions based on MRP reports while meeting KPI targets.
• Maintain inventory at optimal levels according to site requirements.
• Work with internal business partners and suppliers to process PO changes.
• Maintain and update the supplier database, managing shortage or excess escalations.
• Address urgent receipts, past‑due items, and resolve receiving challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BBA or relevant diploma).
• 0–1 year of experience in procurement or supply‑chain functions (not mandatory).
• Proficiency with standard computer applications, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
