About the role

We are looking for a motivated, well‑presented Private Senior Butler to join a high‑net‑worth household in India. The role is ideal for an early‑to‑mid‑career professional with formal service experience from a private residence or a luxury hotel, who wishes to develop further in private service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide formal table and beverage service to high standards for family members and guests.
• Assist with day‑to‑day household operations and coordinate with other staff such as housekeeping, chauffeurs, chefs, and security.
• Support wardrobe care, packing, and valet duties for principals as needed.
• Maintain household inventory of silverware, china, linens, and other service items.
• Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and logistics.
• Accompany the family on travel, ensuring service standards are upheld while away.
• Preserve discretion and confidentiality regarding all household matters.
• Learn and adapt to the household’s specific preferences and routines, moving toward greater autonomy over time.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a butler or in a comparable role within a private household or a 5‑star luxury hotel.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel with the family as required.
• Strong grooming, presentation, and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of formal etiquette and fine‑dining service standards, with openness to further training.
• Valid passport preferred.
• References from previous employers that can be verified.
