Principal BIM Modeler – Highways & Site Civils

About the role

We are seeking a Principal BIM Modeler to develop and coordinate high‑quality 3D models for highways, site civil works and utilities in Bengaluru. The role involves using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer to deliver BIM deliverables that meet project standards and ISO 19650 requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models for roads, highways, roundabouts, earthworks, drainage and utilities.
• Create and manage alignments, profiles, surfaces, corridors, superelevation, grading and cross‑sections.
• Model storm‑water, sewer, ducts, electrical and telecom utilities.
• Perform multidisciplinary model federation and BIM coordination across all disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks, resolve conflicts and support closure.
• Extract 3D solids from Civil 3D/ORD models for quantity verification and downstream applications.
• Produce plan, profile, section, detail and schedule drawings from the BIM model.
• Maintain model health, perform QA/QC checks and manage revisions through CDE platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in roads, highways, utilities or civil infrastructure modelling.
• Proven ability to deliver coordinated BIM models and conduct clash detection.
• Strong problem‑solving, QA/QC and independent work capabilities.
