Press & Communications Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Press & Communications Coordinator to join Artists at Risk / Perpetuum Mobile. The role supports our international NGO by crafting compelling media content, managing press relations, and assisting with administrative communication tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Write and publish engaging social‑media posts, website articles and press releases.
• Maintain active relationships with international media outlets and distribute press materials through a global partner network.
• Research and produce longer‑form material for reports, grant applications and advocacy documents.
• Support communications with donors, partner institutions, artists in residence and human‑rights organisations.
• Handle routine administrative duties related to communications and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations and media outreach.
• Native‑level fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail, fact‑checking and research abilities.
• Capacity to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in supporting an international NGO focused on arts and human rights.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
