Press Brake Operator – Machine Operator I

About the role

As a Press Brake Operator you will run bending and embossing machines in a fast‑paced shop floor, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality production for a global technology leader. You will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams while supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate press brake and embossing machines, maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Perform daily machine lubrication, routine maintenance checks, and tool setup.
• Conduct First Piece, in‑process and Last Piece inspections to meet quality standards.
• Load and set up bending tools and dies, keeping accurate tooling accountability.
• Maintain 5S standards, workplace organization, and compliance with PPE requirements.
• Document production data, daily checklists, rejection reports and scrap accountability.
• Support Kaizen projects, teamwork and training of junior operators.

Required profile

• Diploma / ITI or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience operating press brake or bending machines.
• Knowledge of machine operations, tooling, dies and maintenance practices.
• Understanding of SOPs, safety requirements and quality inspection processes.
• Willingness to work in shifts on the shop floor.
