Precast Execution Engineer

About the role

The Precast Execution Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the erection and installation of precast concrete elements on construction sites. The role ensures that all activities follow approved drawings, method statements and safety standards, delivering high‑quality structural components on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the erection and installation of precast concrete elements, guaranteeing correct sequence, alignment, jointing and tolerance compliance.
• Coordinate with precast production, transport and logistics teams to secure timely delivery and manage on‑site storage or staging areas.
• Conduct pre‑erection checks to confirm foundation readiness, presence of embedded plates or sleeves, and availability of lifting equipment such as cranes, lifters and rigging tools.
• Supervise the lifting, placing and fixing of columns, beams, walls, facades, staircases and slabs, ensuring stability, safety and proper alignment during and after erection.
• Oversee the application of grout, sealants and connection systems (bolting, welding, dowels) according to design details and monitor curing processes for joints.

Required profile

• Engineer with experience in precast concrete construction.

Required skills

• Knowledge of precast concrete erection methods and tolerance requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and method statements.
• Proficiency in using lifting equipment (cranes, lifters, rigging tools).
• Experience applying grout, sealants and connection systems (bolting, welding, dowels).
• Strong construction site supervision and safety management skills.
