Pre-Primary Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Pre‑Primary Teacher to join Oakridge International School in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The school serves over 2,800 students from Nursery through Grade 12 and offers IB, CBSE and Cambridge curricula. In this position you will deliver an engaging early‑years curriculum, contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment, and support the school’s reputation for academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver age‑appropriate lessons for Pre‑Primary students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment in line with safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to ensure alignment with IB, CBSE or Cambridge frameworks.
• Prepare learning materials, organise classroom resources and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that enrich the early‑years experience.
• Engage in continuous professional development and mandatory safeguarding training.

Required profile

• Relevant early‑childhood teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, Diploma in Early Childhood Education).
• Proven experience teaching Nursery or Pre‑Primary students.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and willingness to undergo national and international vetting procedures.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and embrace diversity.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with parents, colleagues and school leadership.
