Power BI Developer

About the role

Deloitte India is looking for a Power BI Developer to join its Analytics and Information Management practice in Bhubaneshwar or Coimbatore. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to transform raw data into actionable visual insights that support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Connect to multiple data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence purposes.
• Implement row‑level security and manage the application security layer in Power BI.
• Create and optimise DAX queries and advanced calculations.
• Develop tabular and multidimensional data models that adhere to warehouse standards.
• Publish, schedule and maintain Power BI reports in line with business requirements.
• Integrate Power BI visualisations into other applications using embedded analytics, SaaS services or API automation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout development, testing and production phases.
• Collaborate with process owners to understand current workflows and design appropriate data models.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech or equivalent engineering degree.
• Proven experience in Power BI development and administration.
• Hands‑on experience building Analysis Services reporting models.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear visual reports.

• Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• DAX query language.
