Porter – Property Maintenance

About the role

As a Porter you will help keep our residential communities looking their best. You will be responsible for maintaining both exterior grounds and interior common areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exterior grounds, landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, gutters, and building exteriors.
• Clean and upkeep interior common areas such as trash chutes, compactor rooms, lobbies, and, when needed, pool areas.
• Assist with trash removal after move‑outs and manage waste disposal facilities.
• Post community notices and communications as required.
• Keep maintenance shops and work areas organized and tidy.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Prior experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, janitorial or general maintenance work is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of interior and exterior building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to operate hand tools and cleaning equipment safely.
• Basic computer literacy for job‑related tasks.
• Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, with possible overtime, extended hours, and on‑call rotations.
