Porter – Property Grounds & Common Area Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Porter to keep the exterior grounds, common areas and interior shared spaces of our rental properties clean, safe and well‑maintained. The role supports both resident satisfaction and the overall appearance of our portfolio of single‑family homes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the condition of exterior grounds, including landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, building exteriors and gutters.
• Keep interior common areas such as lobbies, trash chutes, compactor rooms and pool areas tidy and functional.
• Perform trash removal after move‑outs and assist with posting community notices.
• Organize and clean maintenance shops and work areas, and help with pool area upkeep.
• Operate on‑site motor vehicles as needed and respond to on‑call service requests.

Required profile

• Prior experience with grounds maintenance, landscaping or general janitorial work is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic interior and exterior maintenance, hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency for job‑related tasks.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday schedule, with occasional overtime and on‑call rotations.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb, perform continuous movement and work in all weather conditions.
