Plumbing Technician

About the role

Fasal is seeking a full‑time Plumbing Technician to join its farm automation team in Karnataka, India. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the plumbing infrastructure that supports the company’s irrigation and fertigation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, fit and repair pipes, valves, and related components used in farm automation.
• Diagnose and fix leaks, blockages and other plumbing issues on site.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation of irrigation and fertigation systems.
• Respond to service requests from field and engineering teams promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate clearly with farm operators and partners during on‑site visits.

Required profile

• Vocational training or certification in plumbing or a related trade (preferred).
• Experience in agricultural, industrial or field‑service environments is an advantage.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and follow safety procedures.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel within Karnataka as needed.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
