Plumbing Draftsman (AutoCAD)

About the role

Econ Pollution Control Consultants is seeking a Plumbing Draftsman to join its consultancy team in Mumbai. You will create detailed plumbing drawings for residential and industrial projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plumbing, water supply, drainage, sewerage, rainwater and sanitary system layouts using AutoCAD.
• Produce shop drawings, as‑built drawings and revise them according to site requirements.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects and civil teams to deliver clash‑free drawings.
• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation and records.
• Support project teams with technical drawings for various projects.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI or equivalent qualification in Drafting or Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in plumbing drafting.
• Good understanding of plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of STP, WTP, ETP and residential plumbing systems is a plus.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in ZWCAD.
• Basic Excel skills.
