Plumbing Design Engineer

About the role

Eeki Foods is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer to lead the design of farm‑level irrigation, water‑management and plumbing systems. The role combines mechanical engineering expertise with agricultural technology to create sustainable, high‑yield vegetable farms.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare farm layout plans, positioning infrastructure, irrigation networks and access points.
• Develop irrigation cluster designs, perform water‑distribution calculations and optimise usage per crop.
• Design raw water‑source arrangements, calculate total water demand and create efficient distribution facilities.
• Specify technical details for pumps, fertigation machines and related automation equipment.
• Produce single‑line diagrams for all plumbing systems, including irrigation, climate control, filtration, sprinklers and fire‑water systems.
• Act as the single point of contact for change management, tracking and implementing design adjustments.
• Utilise design software such as AutoCAD and Revit for detailed schematics.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor progress, ensure compliance with designs and report updates to management.

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with at least 65% academic record.
• Proven experience in designing water plumbing lines and irrigation systems for agricultural or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation‑cluster calculations and water‑management principles.
