Plumbing Design Engineer

About the role

Eeki Foods is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer to create efficient farm layouts, irrigation clusters, and water management systems for its climate‑proof vegetable farms. The role combines technical design, on‑site monitoring, and change management to support sustainable, pesticide‑free agriculture.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed farm layout plans, positioning infrastructure, irrigation networks, and access routes.
• Develop irrigation cluster designs, perform water distribution calculations, and optimise usage based on crop needs.
• Design raw water source arrangements, calculate total water requirements, and create facilities for efficient distribution.
• Specify technical details for pumping systems, fertigation machines, and related equipment.
• Produce single‑line diagrams for all plumbing systems, including irrigation, climate control, filtration, sprinkler/rain‑gun, and fire‑water networks.
• Act as the single point of contact for change management, tracking and implementing design adjustments.
• Utilise design software such as AutoCAD and Revit to generate accurate layouts and schematics.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with designs and report progress to management.

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 65% academic performance.
• Proven experience in designing water plumbing lines for residential societies or industrial estates.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation and water‑management design for agricultural environments.
