Plumbing Design Draftsman

About the role

We are seeking a focused and detail‑oriented Plumbing Design Draftsman to create precise technical drawings for residential societies, townships and commercial projects. The role involves translating design concepts into construction‑ready AutoCAD drawings and supporting the engineering team on site verification.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive, construction‑ready drawings for plumbing, fire‑fighting, drainage, and water‑supply systems.
• Develop schematic diagrams, layout drawings, and shop drawings for residential townships and commercial complexes.
• Ensure all drafting work complies with local municipal codes and National Building Code (NBC) guidelines.
• Incorporate design modifications accurately and maintain organized version control.
• Collaborate closely with project engineers and consultants to convert design requirements into functional layouts.
• Conduct occasional site visits to verify physical conditions against drawings.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of dedicated experience in plumbing and fire‑protection drafting.
• ITI Draftsman or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Prior exposure to residential buildings, townships, or commercial layouts.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Understanding of water distribution layouts, gravity drainage, rainwater harvesting, and fire‑hydrant/sprinkler detailing.

What we offer

• Working hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Weekly offs: 2nd & 4th Saturday plus all Sundays.
