Plastic Surgeon – Full-time (Kutch)

About the role

Mediaid Healthcare LLP is seeking a full‑time Plastic Surgeon to join its on‑site team in the Kutch district. The role involves delivering both reconstructive and cosmetic surgical care to a diverse patient population, ensuring safety, quality, and patient‑centered outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations, review diagnostic reports, and counsel patients on treatment options and risks.
• Plan and perform reconstructive procedures for congenital, traumatic, and post‑oncologic conditions.
• Perform cosmetic surgeries with a focus on realistic outcomes and ethical patient communication.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other specialists to provide integrated care.
• Manage pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative care, including emergency and on‑call duties.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to infection‑control and safety protocols.
• Participate in case discussions, quality‑improvement initiatives, and training activities.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency or specialist training in Plastic Surgery.
• Valid medical license and relevant board certification or eligibility as per local regulations.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient‑centered care.
• Willingness to live and work on‑site in Kutch and to undertake emergency/on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Microsurgery, including tissue transfer, nerve repair, and complex reconstructive work.
• Plastic Surgery techniques for both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
• Reconstructive surgery for congenital, traumatic, and post‑oncologic cases.
• Cosmetic surgery with emphasis on safety and realistic outcomes.
