Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator

About the role

Thara Innovations India Private Limited is seeking a full‑time Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator for its Hosur facility. The operator will set up, run and monitor injection molding equipment to produce mechanical parts that meet precise specifications. The role requires close collaboration with production supervisors and quality teams to achieve daily output targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set up injection molding machines, load raw materials, and adjust machine parameters for each production run.
• Monitor molding cycles, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure consistent production output.
• Inspect finished parts for visual defects, measure critical dimensions, and follow quality control procedures.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks and report any machine issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety around the equipment and complete production logs accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production targets and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Strong machine operation skills, including setting parameters and monitoring performance.
• Understanding of injection molding cycles, material behavior, and part‑quality requirements.
• Ability to perform visual inspection, dimensional checks, and adhere to quality documentation.
• Experience with routine preventive maintenance and minor adjustments.
• Capability to read basic technical drawings and follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and collaborate effectively with production and quality teams.
• Minimum education in manufacturing, mechanical or technical disciplines (ITI or diploma) or equivalent practical experience.
